TOPINA is a family-owned company in the 3rd generation and your competent partner for high quality, functional Topinambur ingredients in organic quality.
The tubers for our Topinambur products come exclusively from our own organic farming in the heart of Lower Saxony. We have been certified organic for more than 25 years and serve customers in Germany, Europe and worldwide.
The tasty Topinambur tuber probably came from America to Europe at the beginning of the 17th century. Whether from Canada, Central or South America cannot be clarified today.
In times of need and war, it initially helped people through the worst hunger.
Today we know about its valuable ingredients and amazing functionality.
We process our tubers into a total of eleven different products.
Naturally high inulin content:
~ 50%
We cut the whole tuber, dry it and then grind it in different degrees of fineness to powder, granulate, dices, stripes and slices (types 10 to 80).
Both the soluble and the insoluble components of the tuber are largely unaltered.

~ 45% and ~ 65%
From the press juice of the tuber we make a golden yellow juice concentrate of approx. 65° Brix as well as our Topinambur juice powder ORGANIC.
These are fully water soluble.
All soluble components of the tuber are largely unaltered, in particular the fiber-active inulin.
Intense & spicy or
mild, rounded
Two other unique Topinambur specialties: ORGANIC Topinambur vinegar and ORGANIC Topinambur balm vinegar.
Their extraordinary, slightly earthy aroma characterizes these all-rounders - either strong, sour in the vinegar or mild and rounded in the balm vinegar.
In addition, we conduct a very critical selection of our processing plants, in which we pay close attention to the necessary certifications and regularly get a personal idea of the situation on site. This is how we live up to our high quality standards.

The controlled organic cultivation of our Jerusalem artichoke tubers is carried out in accordance with Regulation (EC) No. 2018/848 and is certified by the Organic Control Unit GfRS DE-ÖKO-039.
All our products may be rewarded with a range of health claims. Thanks to its many valuable ingredients, Topinambur is suitable for a variety of applications in food and supplements.

Organic Topinambur products naturally contain inulin, oligofructans, polyphenols and potassium as well as other minerals and essential amino acids. In addition, Topinambur ranks among alkaline foods. A real superfood.
Our Topinambur products bring the valuable properties of the plant with them. This includes a particularly high inulin content as well as many micro and macronutrients.
